Dusty Rose Vintage: In Full Bloom

group2
It's finally time I debut my next set of Dusty Rose Vintage photos...little by little my favorite photoshoot to-date will unveil its pretty little self.

This time around we ladies (Idee_geniale, Showgirl Godzilla, and myself) headed out to Prospect Park--not that is a longshot, I live nearby, so it was a perfect opportunity for us to play dress up and for Dusty Rose to capture her fine floral print goodies in a lovely outdoor setting.

This time, I fell in love with this 1960's Mod Floral Print mini they asked me to wear.  If only there was a way for me to let out that bust dart a bit...story of my life.
I have to say, I absolutely adore this dress, the little floral print, the slight puff in the sleeve, the length of the dress (right up my alley because its no secret that I like to show off my legs and make them look as long as possible).  It's heaven in the form of a creamy concoction of a dress!

As I said at the beginning, this was my favorite Dusty Rose Vintage photoshoot yet.  Being outside with the sun beating down, the mimosas and bloody mary's fueling our smiles, it was easy to have fun and c'mon, we love playing dress up.  It was a perfect day, a perfect setting, and perfect group of friends to giggle with. And I just don't know...I just can't sum it up into words...I think I really like the way this group of items turned out.  And yeah, I like this freakin dress SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!

Dusty Rose, how much seam allowance is there in that bust dart?
Hmmmmmm, I think I need this...or the next one I'll be posting in a few days.  Adding to my wishlist right now...mental note, check!  Because well...I feel kinda purty in this.

ps-I'm also wearing what may become my favorite summer sandal this season--they make me TALL!  Can you believe these were only $15 at Target?  They don't scream Target at all--or so I want to believe.
(and hey, I am not really knockin' Target, I practically live at that store.)

that dress is AWESOME, and looks great on you! And those shoes "make you look tall"? Please girl, like you need more height with those great long legs of yours! :)

Sweetheart, you look so absolutely GORGEOUS in that dress! You all look absolutely gorgeous, actually.
How tall are you regularly, without those shoes? When I come to New York, we could have a slightly-taller-than-average party, if you're like me and slightly taller than average.

I am in love with that dress. Yellow vintage dresses are like the most perfect thing to me. I covet.

The shoes are also awesome. Sometimes Target is a good thing.

I just stumbled across your blog and to be honest, I usually find fashion blogs incredibly boring, but I love yours! I don't know how that is possible but you are so cute and fun!
