Coach's MYNY Poppy Campaign--featuring ME!

Starting Tomorrow-
Coach is set to launch their online

I was quite surprised when I was asked to be a part of this...I mean, ME?  Who?

To my delight, the items they offered me to style up were so very easily translatable into my everyday approach to dressing.  So I was completely excited to give them a go around town knowing that I would still feel exactly like myself-staying true to my style, just rockin some new threads for Coach!!  And doing it my way-the only way I know how!

Coach's MYNY Poppy campaign
I was to be spending that very day uptown, doing some museum trolling along the Upper East Side.  Taking cues from the school girls of the UES, I gave it my own twist--a lot more downtown--than say the average uptown girl.

The Alex Striped Blazer in Charcoal was the starting point, with its slight hint of Harry Potter/school girl undertones, I knew a full little mini would compliment it well.
Wanting to keep the color palate simple and clean, in order for my Poppy Leather Glam Tote in Persimmon to shine as the focal point, I opted to stick with an otherwise crisp scheme of black, white, and gray.

Some quick add-ons such as my silk scarf, a large vintage necklace, and a few rings, and of course the sunnies, and I was set to go.

This is MY STYLE-and exactly how I take an otherwise classic brand like Coach and make it work with my more "rough around the edges", rock n roll thing.

Lucky for me Poppy is spunky, young, and often times bright; as I said before very easily translatable into my everyday attire.

A big thank you to Coach and to PurpleLabNYC for reaching out to me and offering me this exciting opportunity.  I really appreciate it, and I had a marvelous time in the clothes.
Very fun, styling up the products, showing you my take on fashion, in my usual "Wild as a Mink" way.

Make sure to stop by this same post on or after 6/30/10 to see the ad campaign;

Or stop by coach.com , click on "New At Coach", and go to "MYNY" to see the feature.

That color is fantastic, as is your outfit. Amazing how I have all these items in my closet but have never thought of putting them together. And congrats on being part of Coach's campaign!

That is so awesome! I actually really like the blazer and I am def not the preppy type. You totally rock it!

See this is probably the only reason I dislike Chicago...no style opportunities! No one would ever do like.. MYChi or something cool. We only get credit for 2 things...being sports obsessives and for being basically the most overweight city in the US. Ha! Sadly we do have some awesome style. Especially when it comes to vintage/indie style. But that hardly attracts Coach. :)

It's up and I saw it and I know your last name and I love it and congrats and I'm so excited they chose you and run-on sentences are fun and hi! I miss you and your blog. Sorry I've been such a punk butt loser blog friend and fell off the face of the commenting planet. I'm blaming my baby. You can blame it, too, if you wanna.

CONGRATS, girl! Things like this never would have happened to us had we stayed in Indiana! :0)
