Dusty Rose Vintage=1960's Dino print Dress

"We think this dress looks like melting vinyl records. We love Mr. Dino prints, but this one is particularly unique. His prints are usually more detailed and either floral or chandalier style (although, for obvious reasons, he was compared to Pucci in the 60s), but this one is particularly clean and mod, which we like just fine, thank you very much. No wonder his designs are so coveted. "--Dusty Rose Vintage

I couldn't have said it better than Dusty Rose--they describe this perfectly.

I love this dress-I found it so easy to wear, and so unique. And since I'm not one to shy away from a bold print, of course I gravitated toward this piece. And is it not sooooo perfect for the upcoming spring??? Heck yeah! I'd totally wear this in a heartbeat come March!

I have to admit at first I didn't even know about Mr. Dino, or his world renowned prints or fame. Turns out he invented the screen-printing machine used to print on fabrics. And it turns out...this dress is one of his! And it's a rather unique print for him so I hear.

(so much for me claiming to have been the only one enthused by her History of Costume I and II classes in college--I seriously failed this one.)

Although, can I tell you--it was a little big on me, so I threw on a beaded belt for a little sparkle and turned this 60s dress into an updated mini dress:

I think the low-slung belt accents the print in all the right ways.

Now, figure out how you'd rock this Mr. Dino mod dress by heading over to Dusty Rose Vintage's Etsy store to check it out in further detail.

I LOVE the spunky vibes of the print in the dress. Sends the message of the confident girl who flirts cautiously. And the accessories that you've picked go perfectly, they compliment the outfit rather than compete with it......groovy.

WEORK!

Oh, I quite like this. Amazing piece and you styled it so well - I like the low slung belt as opposed to it being worn at your natural waist.

That's such a fantastic belt! I love how you've worn it with the low-slung belt...I've never been able to wear those well, especially with my long torso. I feel like elasta-girl:)

Don't worry about the e-mail and take your time. I completely understand that you're busy.
