April Showers...Bring May Flowers

What a pity it's only February.
Photobucket
But it was rainy today, and I was wearing flowers.
So what if we're still knee-deep in winter; it was high time I cheer myself up w/a bit of color.
And I cannot tell you how many times I heard just how springy I looked today.
(and then they all snickered at my funny shirt)

But florals are big for spring right?
Why do I even ask? It's my job to know this stuff.
Not sure butterfly collared button-ups w/'70 floral prints are in, but thats alright.

Wearing:
*Yellow cardigan sweater-Kimchi Blue/Urban Outfitters
*Black vintage floral print button up-Thrift Store (upstate NY)
*Skinny jeans-Uniqlo
*Black booties-Nine West
*Bird necklace-Forever 21

I almost forgot about this lil' guy...I don't wear him enough.
I thought a bird was pretty much appropriate for this spring-like dose of color I brought about into my winter wardrobe of the day.

Is anyone else kinda over winter?
It would be awesome if we could get a horrendous snowstorm,
until then I'll keep looking ahead to spring.

Yay! I have that necklace! Only i got it from ModCloth a long while ago. And it was probably way more expensive because of that. LOL But I still love it. I always get comments about it. I even named it Fonzy.

Heyyyyy :)

...and yes, it's actually (in my book) a "snowin' pity'...and to think we're getting more. I guess Winter feels HE's just going to get his days worth while he still has time. AWH SIGH. Where is THAT groundhog?! Mannnnnnn aha. Anyway, I've been busy too ...or at least trying to :) So ready for spring! I'm loving the shirt so CUTE, and the necklace....since I doubt I'll be able to find it at any stores in my location...ummmm? Im going to find a way to just borrow yours haha :::wink:::. Have a groovy night :)

Let them snicker all they want, you're springing into fashion-action (a bad pun and a bad rhyme, a twofer!).

What a cute necklace. :)

It's amazing how individual pieces like that bird necklace can really take off (heh heh bad puns always) when you put them together with the right outfit. Shows you don't have to spend a fortune to look g-r-e-a-t!

That cardigan is such a rad color! And in my eyes, nothing 70's ever goes out of style.

I love your little bird necklace. Its the perfect touch with your floral blouse. I often defiantly wear florals in the face of cold or rainy weather too.

aww, I love the birdie! how cute.

I'm getting a little tired of winter, but I'm dreading having to put my tights away. I think a huge snowstorm that gives me an excuse to stay cozied up indoors is just what I need.

Oooohhh... that necklace is damn cheery and pretty. The F21 accessory department is often so good and overwhelming that I walk out with nothing. A pity...

I love that I can totally legitimately hear your voice in my head when I read your posts! And are you kidding! This shirt is really really great! So indie or whatever the hell that means. I like it a lot. The necklace and cardigan are just the right touch. So funny story, Evan reads your blog now too and we were in the car today and he said "oh, have you read Nickie's blog recently? she has this little Owl thing that is like the size of her eye and it looks exactly like the mechanical owl in the original clash of the Titans. If I commented on blogs I would have told her it that." so funny right. We had a great time getting to know you. You are so cool.

Hi, if you do not use the bird necklace anymore and want to sell it then could you write me? Because I was searching for that necklace but could not buy it anymore at F21 :-)

Thank you, Jasmin
